Ancestors of Peter Wallace, Sr.
- While Ancestry.com hints suggest that the parents of Peter Wallace, Sr. were named William Wallace and Elizabeth Bruce, I have not found any evidence beyond undocumented assertions in other people's family trees. For this reason, I am not including them as "prior generations". Likewise, some early family historians claim that Peter Wallace was a direct descendant of Sir William Wallace, the Scottish hero executed by English King Edward I. That is patently absurd, since Sir William left no descendants. Our Wallace family may be related to him, but are certainly not his descendants.
