David Lewis Watson (1727-1811)

Family History Book: David Lewis Watson (1727-1811)

Thanks to some recent DNA research results, we know that our Watson family descends from David Lewis Watson, who lived in Laurens County, Georgia. My hypothesis is that his son, also named David, is the elusive father of our previous "brick wall", Charles M Watson (1838-1889), who stated on a US Census that he was born in Georgia. Because of this breakthrugh, we can now trace our line back to the generation prior to immigration to America, and possibly beyond.
