Caveats

Aside from family tree entries at Ancestry.com made by people whose DNA shows an appropriate amount of segments matching mine, I have not verified the vast majority of these names and dates. There is considerable disagreement over when David L Watson, Jr. died as well. I have based the date I'm using (by 1840) on the fact that Lucinda Holman Watson, whom I believe was his third wife, is shown as Head of Household in the 1840 census with three male children, 1 less than 5 years old, 1 between 5 and 9, and one between 10 and 14. Luciney M Watson, or Lucinda Monk (Holman) Watson, is shown aged 20-29. The two older boys are the right ages to be Richard and Elias, whom I believe were Lucinda's step-sons from David Watson's second marriage..
