Family History Book: Twin Boys Watson (1906-1906) & (1906-1907)

There is not much to say about children who die as infants, except that it makes everyone sad. On 6 November 1906, Tom and Ida Watson had twin sons. One died only two days later, but the other lived until 25 May 1907. What went wrong cannot be determined after all these years, but certainly an accident during birth, not uncommon with twins, was probably at the root since none of their other children had obvious birth defects. The fact that neither baby was named suggests that it may have been obvious they would not survive. I have not located death certificates, so the reason is lost to history.
